Trials show that spraying a SlickAway™ solution onto the feathers, a significant proportion of the crude oil (approximately (75-80%) came off by moving them around in a pool of water or by rinsing with a shower spray; an application baby oil or vegetable oil removes any remaining crude oil residue.

In nature, microbes work in complex communities. A strong and healthy community is the key to
keeping out toxins and pathogens. By throwing in one very strong and maybe genetically engineered foreign element, we can set everything out of balance.

Safety

Stringent rules

Canada has very stringent rules concerning the manufacture of microbial products.

Products made in Europe even under ISO regulations or products with non Canadian micro organisms are not able to be sold for used in the environment. Some manufacturers try to get around this by declaring organic certification only (the fact is the PCBs are organic).

All the bacteria used in InocUsol products are Canadian strains isolated at our product development laboratory in Quebec. This is mandatory in Canada; documentation of our micro organisms and manufacturing processes are available on request. All InocUsol microbial strains have bio-safety ratings of level 1;

InocUsol uses documented microbial strains, agricultural grade ingredients and proprietary formulations to ensure standardized fermentation as well as first-class quality and reproducibility of outcomes.

Cultures are listed internationally as GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) including in the United States and are on the Domestic Substance List (DSL) in Canada. None of the microbes are genetically modified. They grow at different temperatures under aerobic and anaerobic conditions even in complex milieu rich in nitrates.
