The Science Behind the Products

Oily animal treatment is reviewed in the Gulf of Mexico

No need for scrubbing

No need for scrubbing with mayonnaise and handling the animals and birds for hours on end, a process that traumatizes animals and requires considerable man power. Trials show that spraying a SlickAway™ solution onto the feathers, a significant proportion of the crude oil (approximately (75-80%) came off by moving them around in a pool of water or by rinsing with a shower spray; an application baby oil or vegetable oil removes any remaining crude oil residue.

"...Aquinoc is the only one that works.”

Quote from Lewis Patton; Superintendent Caughnawaga Golf Course: "We use environmentally designed practices on our course. I have tried many different biological products to treat our ponds and Aquinoc is the only one that works.”

A Probiotic for the environment

In nature, microbes work in complex communities. A strong and healthy community is the key to
keeping out toxins and pathogens. By throwing in one very strong and maybe genetically engineered foreign element, we can set everything out of balance.

Nature is all about synergy. The effect of the synergy is distinct from what the individual members do. The InocUsol formulation contains benificial micro organisms from different families of microbes. The synergy of this blend stimulates the growth of the natural beneficial bacteria in the environment, as well as strengthening the plants and animals natural resistance to adversity.

Our respect for natural biodiversity is fundamental in our approach to treating the environment. The InocUsol approach is to use our micro-ecosystem as a starting point, to introduce other microbes that degrade specific contaminants and to also grow up the indigenous microbes using accommodation methods to allow all the microbes to adapt to one another. This is in order to create a strong ecological synergy that regenerates itself and is capable of overcoming adversity.

At InocUsol we fuse modern scientific, industrial methods with ancient artisanal methods that intuitively understand nature's models. We maintain a biological respect for the habitat in contrast to other microbial bio-tech companies, who often inject monocultures or genetically modified organisms into the ecosystem, either upsetting the natural balance or simply being ineffective because the newcomers cannot compete with the endogenous species.

InocUsol contains several well documented beneficial microbes some of which are described below:

Photosynthetic bacteria

Strains utilized include Rhodopseudomonas Palastris

• Biodegradation of hydrocarbons;
• Biodegradation of other organic toxins and organic debris

fermentation of hay for animal feed • Enhances growth of endogenous microbial species in the environment • Suppresses predatory infection of the gut • Suppresses salmonella infection risk in food • Enhances animal immunity • Instrumental in fermentation and production of beneficial enzymes and nutrients • In the food chain in many countries throughout the world (Europe, US, Canada, Japan …)

Stringent rules

Canada has very stringent rules concerning the manufacture of microbial products.

Products made in Europe even under ISO regulations or products with non Canadian micro organisms are not able to be sold for used in the environment. Some manufacturers try to get around this by declaring organic certification only (the fact is the PCBs are organic).

All the bacteria used in InocUsol products are Canadian strains isolated at our product development laboratory in Quebec. This is mandatory in Canada; documentation of our micro organisms and manufacturing processes are available on request. All InocUsol microbial strains have bio-safety ratings of level 1;

InocUsol uses documented microbial strains, agricultural grade ingredients and proprietary formulations to ensure standardized fermentation as well as first-class quality and reproducibility of outcomes.

Cultures are listed internationally as GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) including in the United States and are on the Domestic Substance List (DSL) in Canada. None of the microbes are genetically modified. They grow at different temperatures under aerobic and anaerobic conditions even in complex milieu rich in nitrates.
